... what about RE Archives? So, sherry isn't under government protection? Why didn't they mention anything about wesker kidnapping sherry in RE Archives? This book was published after the Wesker's Report. It doesn't have any sense...

The only wrong thing i found is in a relatinship table which says rebecca is dead, but it's just a mishap, because in another table, they say she's alive. I think this book is just triying to create coherence and consistence with the different scenarios, endings and situations you can find in every game...
So, RE3 epilogue is a Capcom's mistake, too.Comment

There are a few other mistakes as well, for example they constantly contradict themselves on the date the Progenitor was discovered and a lot of what is written is simply speculation on the author's part, especially details pertaining to BOW's. As far as Sherry's abduction goes; it is true that she was detained by the government, but it is then implied that Wesker nonetheless got a hold of her either through manipulation or force. Apart from anything else the picture doesn't do her any favours being from the chest up. Much like Fiona she's no more endowed than most 20+ year olds. Can we stop obsessing over this and move on to what significance she has in returning after all Chris will only know of her at most on account of Claire. Is she really mutated or will she take on an Ashley type role? Maybe she's under their control and is a Tyrant of sorts . . .sigpicComment

The Haunting Ground thing won't be coincidental - elements of versions of RE4 are in there already - part of what I call the "DMC effect" and Capcom's underlying ability to hardly ever waste anything they create (Jerome especially could probably give you a compherensive list of things from versions of Resident Evil that have gone to either other RE titles or other games).
It's very easy to believe that the character in the game was their original model of Sherry.Comment
