Spong (yes, that site) posted an interview with Inafune that the conducted during E3 where he said the following in regards to RE5:
The release date may very well be off, since publishers never joke about a delay so we'd take that with a grain of salt. But unless there is something lost in the translation, a PC RE5 is likely being considered and could be easily done. It's running on a multiplatform engine (Framework) that originated on the platform (which in turn was loosely based on the Onimusha 3 engine).
It's a rumor for now, so this is by no means a confirmation especially given the source of the interview. It's worth mentioning since Inafune is an executive who oversees the production of the various titles since the RE4 port for PS2.

UPDATE: Spong removed "PC" from Inafune's answer upon request from Capcom Europe. Did Inafune slip up, or was it really a mistake from Spong? We'll find out sooner or later. Framework did allow them to port Lost Planet to the PC fairly quickly, and with DMC4 seeing a PC release as well, RE5 is a likely candidate.
As for Resident Evil 5, all we’ve done is shown the trailer and we’ve been instructed not to say anything more to anybody. Not just you press guys. Anyone; other than it is scheduled for release next year on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
