Gamespot has some new screenshots up of Umbrella Chronicles. In one, it reveals some of the plot for the new scenario.

"Chris and Jill had joined a regional biohazard containment unit and had heard rumors about this nightmarish facility."

Capcom has released a new trailer for Umbrella Chronicles. This one reveals some new plot points and introduces some old enemies from the past. Alzaire noticed that 1.5 music plays during some sequences of the trailer which is a nice treat for the fans. The game also has an official release date for the US of November 13th.

well in RE1 when you play as Chris, you get the bad ending, she dies.

But Rebecca survives the incidents of the spencer mansion according to canon. There's even a file she writes in the N64 version of RE2 if I remember correctly.

On July 23rd, an MP vehicle was found inside the Arklay Mountains.
Corpses of MP members and an unidentified body were found near the
vehicle. According to the information from military authorities, the
unidentified body was identified as former ensign Billy Koen, who was
sentenced the death penalty following a court-martial on July 22nd.

While Koen was on transfer via Navy MP escort, they must have
experienced some kind of accident. The corpses were severely mauled,
apparently torn apart by unidentified wild animals. The following day we
returned to the location to recover the bodies but they were nowhere to
be found. Military authorities have requested that we turn over Koen's
body as proof of his death. But due to the circumstances described
above, it will be a difficult task to recover the corpse. I am
requesting that this case be temporarily closed until further notice.

Well he has to be back to a somewhat human semblance by the time RE4 occurs in 2004.



As an aside, I'm really looking forward to the Richard and Rebecca part. Even if it is only a cutscene. Very pleased to see they haven't re-used the Nemesis model from Gun Survivor 2 aswell.

Err, the music used in the trailer isn't specifically 1.5 music. It was in the final RE2 aswell. In the secret laboratory room you get in the B scenarios.

Music from Bio 1.5?

The music playing is "Wreckage Of The Mad Experiment", from BioHazard 2.

The two versions of that song are very distinct, and without doubt, that teaser is playing a remixed/updated version from BioHazard 2, not 1.5.

Anyways, looks like UC is actually shaping up to be a great game.
