Thanks for agreeing with me! Unlike him, I am really looking foward to this game, i've already reserved it at Gamestop! How about you? I can't wait to kill Nemesis again.Last edited by Guest; 10-03-2007, 07:56 PM.

Those who think their opinion is right will often attack or team up against those who's opinions do not match. Usually it's those with a positive opinion vs. those with a negative (or at least perceived as such, and yes it can be the other way around).
The videos and images are released for consumers to form their opinions on what they see so they may choose whether they want to buy the game or not. That's what marketing and previewing is for. Here we have a case of someone forming a negative opinion based on the preview material and past experience and taste for the company making it. To the ones bashing him, he is just ranting just to rant and needs to shut up. Because obviously they and their positive opinions must be correct. There is no right or wrong here. Nobody has played the game, but previews are there to give you an idea of what is coming. And there are quite a few who are not impressed at all. Might some previous bias be involved? Sure, that happens when the company has released a dozen games and a hundred ports (exaggeration obviously) and you feel the games are just not what they used to be and how you enjoyed them. Is keeping an open mind good? Yes. Just, as the lame saying goes "Don't keep an open mind so open that your brains fall out.". So is everyone supposed to just shut up, ignore marketing and opinions (even their own), and just buy the game no matter what then return it if they don't like it? Or even better, just suck it up and enjoy the game no matter if it's bad or not because people forget that games are made to have fun with? What is the point of previews and marketing then?
I believe the ones bashing the negative here are just bashing just to bash, because hey, why not? If the guy can rant just to rant with his personal opinion that they deem invalid, then it can be the other way around. Even better since one of them is the guy who apparently tried to enlighten people to his awesome correct opinion of a certain title and change their opinions to match his, which is apparently the case as he then said he got tired of trying to do that cause his opponents were too stubborn and doesn't argue anymore. So instead of trying to change their opinion, just bash them instead. Sounds logical.
This is a forum for a series and we share our opinions on it. Most of us like and enjoy at least one to a few of the games. We have varying opinions, and I don't think any of us here dislike every single game, as really there'd be no point for someone like that to be on a series-specific forum unless they were trolling. I don't think anyone here is trolling, except for maybe the guy who signed up just to bash on Ciar's opinion. If you have nothing good to say, don't say anything at all right? Didn't really have good things to say to Ciar... But my point is, we are entitled to our opinions, and nobody should tell anyone to shut up or insult people based on them. My post above has some veiled insults, yes, but in this case they are based mostly on sarcasm and exaggeration for the point of the topic of the argument at hand between certain individuals to help outline that the party that believes they are right are not necessarily right and should not bash on someone who is also not right or wrong, but just has his own opinion.sigpic

Yeah, I didn't want to make my post longer than it already was, so I mostly only included a larger portion dedicated to the offense of the larger party. Both have apologized for some of their more insulting comments or something they said, and that's good. As I did say in my post, I don't believe -anyone- should insult people over their opinions. It's just silly. There's nothing wrong with a good argument, but they really only are good if there is a more definitive factual basis. Arguing over the validity of opinions on judgement of preview information and fabricating insults/name-calling while doing so (such as anyone who doesn't want a Wii must be a 360/PS3 fanboy, or that not liking remixes of previous game tracks is a moron, ect) is not cool.sigpic

This is from an interview from Masachika Kawata
The game was originally designed around the Wii Remote, not the Wii Zapper. However, using the Wii Zapper can enhance the gameplay

Thank you all for understanding me, Ciar, thanks for apologizing about the comment, I have a lot of respect for you now for doing that. And thank you Alzaire because if you hadn't made that post, i'm sure that the arguing would have continued.
You may not like the game Ciar, but that's your opinion and as a human being you are entitled to it. My intention is or will never be to change it, and that's fine. My opinion on the game will not change either ( unless I have actually played it and didn't like it, but according to what i've heard, i don't think that's going to happen) I have realized I shouldn't have gone on this forum in the first place to say something that could offend someone, know I only plan to go on to express my opinion on the topic.

im going to get the wii zapper, theres an advert on you tube, where a couple are playing R.E U.C with the Zap and are having a joyful time and smiling. So you know what that means, the Zapper is fun to use and U.C can't be that scary because the woman was having the time of her life
check it out on you tube, i found it by looking at U.C trailer then got directed to that video.
