Some new scans have been posted on Negaf, courtesy of CVXFreak. They show a badly injured Wesker inside the mansions main hall among other areas.

Basically, Wesker is an unlockable character, the method so far unknown. There are allusions in the game as to how Wesker "died" and came back to life (we know how this went down via Wesker's Report 1, but now we get to see it for real). He uses the Samurai Edge.

Considering the enviroment is blown up BY Wesker at the end of the scenario (which obviously still takes place in UC given the "self destruction" thing on the scan), it has to take place at the end of the mansion scenario. It's probably showing how Wesker escapes the mansion quickly with his new powers.

Aren't there also few screens with Wesker in RE Zero locations? There's the one with water plant puzzle (upper right on the second page) and near an elevator Wesker used in Zero (lower right on the second page).

I wonder if he will be just an unlockable character, or will he have his own scenerios.

Well, considering Wesker pretty much never took off his sunglasses, there's no way anyone would know that the glasses said "Property of Umbrella Corp." After all, the text is on the inside of the frames. You wouldn't be able to see it while someone was wearing the glasses.

Another possibility is that the glasses are how Wesker will "instigate" the Tyrant impaling him. Perhaps the glasses were specially made so there is a button or something on them that activates the Tyrant, or at least stimulates implants in the brain that would make it go berserk. We've seen similar instances with the Mr. X's, after all.

All Wesker would have to do is readjust his glasses or something, and no one would be the wiser.

That's weird, about his glasses. If Umbrella could make Tyrants, Nemesises (Theres an odd one) , Hunters, etc. I bet sunglasses are nothing for them. (teehee)

My assumption is that Wesker takes off the sunglasses after gaining his powers to symbolize his new life against the current Umbrella, afterall he does begin to work for an anti-Umbrella orgainzation after Resident Evil.

yeah hopefully there would be a chapter on this called "my first pair of glasses" and you go on a role playing kinda game in getting ur glasses. long story cut short, you're in R.C, first day for STARS but you've been in a bit of a fight and have a black eye, you don't want your new men to know you got ur arse kicked, so you go on the hunt for glasses but the only things in this town is a Gun Shop, Police Station etc, so you go around town talk to ppl and role play what you say and get information etc. PRETTY RANDOM but yeah

I thought he wore them to cover his cat's eyes, which was the big reveal in Code Veronica.

I thought that's why he was wearing them in the Umbrella Staff photo (In the remake, and retro-actively justified with Wesker's report I in the original)
