New staff members

I'd like you all to welcome two new staff members to the team. They will be taking over the responsibilities of posting the news for the site. They are long time community member A-J and our opinionated BLSR1. Both submitted great writing samples and I'm anxious to see what they can bring to the front page. Expect a staff page update this weekend sometime which will retire some staffers and add some new ones. On a related note, MarkGrass won't be leaving the community. She is taking some time off though, so please respect that and let her be for now. She is going through some medical issues relating to her family which are very serious, so we wish their family the best and hope for a speedy recovery for her mother.

Mark was a male but has changed his gender to female. I hope we're all mature enough to accept this and not make a big deal out of it, especially those older members who've been here for past iterations of THIA where bashing based on that sort of thing wasn't tolerated either.

I don't recall any sort of bashing, probably was in the couple of years I was absent, but this sort of thing really doesn't bother me in the least.
