Fuji Q Biohazard DVD, Bio 0 Wii Dated

This one sure slipped under the radar. It seems that a special "Biohazard EX" DVD was included along with certain copies of the Biohazard 3 DVD. I'm attempting to secure one now, so we can rip it and get it up on the site. This is great timing, because SelfishGene just sent in a writeup on this very attraction at the Fuji Q theme park from when he attended it in just a few months ago.

It appears the ride has been converted back into a normal haunted house style attraction now, though. While we're waiting to see what the disc contains, you can head on over to the Fuji Q Biohazard site, which has a trailer for the ride and possibly what is on the DVD itself. Maybe Gene can confirm this in a reply here.

Capcom's Christian Svensson has hinted that the rumor of a Famitsu RE5 DVD is true, so we'll be eagerly anticipating next weeks Famitsu. Thanks to Rob from Resident Evil Fan for the heads up!

SelfishGene managed to find a Yahoo Japan auction for a flyer containing Biohazard 0 Wii Edition's release date. Set only for Japan, the game will be hitting shelves May 29th. Nice work dude!

I saw this DVD on an auction site, but it was very light on the details. I thought it was just an instore DVD with the movie trailers.

So it came out with the Biohazard 3 film? I think the film was released here in Japan yesterday? There are box sets on DVD, BD and UMD I think, as well as the single release. When I see the vids on it, I'll be able to confirm what was used at the FujiQ attraction. There were 2 we watched (the one you can see stills of, where the STARS people find the zombie, and also a mission brief).

you know what the sad thing about origins is, even the US version that has already been released supports multiple european languages at the start, they could just release the same game in EU ..

Actually, this is something that is up to the publishers.

And at the moment, the PS2 market is slowly fading out and Europe is at the moment getting quite a lot of big releases. Releasing Silent Hill Origins in Europe "right now" would just hurt the PSP release (which is still selling) and also hurt the PS2 release as it'd be overshadowed by other titles coming out at the same time (Both for PS2 and other platforms).

I'm assuming it came with the Bio3 dvd, because if you check YJ Auctions, theres a bunch of them with it. I just won one, so I should have it in about 2 weeks. I gotta get cracking on the feature now!

In the Fuji-Q Highland themepark wich is in Japan Capcom opens a Biohazard / Resident Evil attraction for the visitors.
The visitors can pick up a S.T.A.R.S. uniform and walk through a virus contaminated hospital on the search for survivors.

The name of the attraction is "Biohazard - ScaryLabyrinth Experience" (translated from japanese to german to english).

The story begins with an mysterious attack on two people near a town (maybe Raccoon City ?) in an woodland (maybe Arklaymountains ?).
The two people where brought to the hospital, nobody at the hospital knows that the two people are contaminated with a virus (maybe the T-Virus ?)
through this two people the whole hospital get contaminated with that virus.

At this point the horror for the park visitors begins.

Togehter with two other S.T.A.R.S.-Members you have to collect items, unravel different puzzels, kill zombies and find the antidote.
At different places in the hospital are infrared weapons with wich you have to kill the zombies, the weight of that weapons is near realistic.

The creators of the attraction have taken care of a really scary Resident Evil feeling.
All visitors who "survive the horror" get an photo.
