I hate to break the chain of Resident Evil 5 news but this is a rather new to me anyway and thought I'd share it with everyone.
It seems that the Japan Credit Bureau (JCB) has strucken a deal with Capcom Japan and they have jointly made some Biohazard (Resident Evil) releated credit cards. Apparently this is a Japan only item as the US version of JCB's website does not mention these cards but I've sent their Customer Service an email in regards to this just in case they are available.
Naturally, here in the US, if you were to open an account, you can use the card at any ATM which features the Cirrus logo, STAR System logo and other STAR reciprocal networks. Why wouldn't you use your STARS credit card at a STAR[S] ATM?
Internationally, JCB is a member of the CIRRUS and NEXUS Network. NEXUS ATM's are located in Europe. Also, the JCB Card can be used at all JCB ATM's, the Bank of Tokyo - Mitsubishi UFJ ATM's, and the Postal Office ATM's in Japan.
The JCB Card is accepted at over 13.5 million locations in 190 countries, including most major airlines, hotels, car rental agencies and thousands of fine restaurants and retail stores.
Here are the three credit cards currently in production :
It should be noted that, using your JCB card gets you 5% off purchases made on http://www.e-capcom.com/ and http://www.phantom-web.com.
