Jun Takeuchi, while speaking to Kotaku, revealed that at the Tokyo Game Show the controls for Resident Evil 5 may be different. He goes on to say that the team really likes Call of Duty and Gears of War, so a control scheme more in line with those games is possible.
Hopefully there is an option for the good old tank controls for us stubborn veterans.

It's possible that a lot of people who play Resident Evil 5 may not have played Resident Evil 4. But they might have played Gears of Wars or Call of Duty. Those are both games that I and our team really, really like. So don't be surprised if at the Tokyo Game Show, the controls are different. For now, we have the control set up for RE4. I'm not confirming or denying anything, but we like to surprise people.

Heres a heads up for you trailer fanatics; Sony has the "truck crash" version of the trailer on the US PSN now, so if you simply cannot stand Japanese subtitles, go grab it now (or wait til tomorrow when we post it). Finally, better late than never, we have the screenshots which were released with Capcom's press asset packs. They are all in their original resolution, which is a gigantic 2560x1440. You can view them below.
I'll have the three trailer variations (as well as the newly released English "truck" version), along with the four gameplay videos Capcom released up tomorrow sometime, in SD, HD and streaming varieties, so check back for that. Just to clear any confusion up about these trailer variations, it seems Capcom gave one version to both Microsoft and Sony. Sony ended up with the truck one, Microsoft got the Sheva humvee one, and Capcom themselves released a more complete one that focused on the cloaked woman and a new female character in a white dress.
