Parts of this trailer remind me of that underground section in re4 with the light puzzle and Novistador's.

That Penguin thing seems to be that blonde girl with the red dress rather than the Alexia tube woman lookalike.
It's made sense that she's being controlled by the woman with the black her.
Also does anybody know what that red symbol on the hood of that axe guy means?

My theory is that the beat-up looking blonde in the red dress is Sherry. I think she is the one who is being held captive, and being injected by the "healthy lungs" lady. Also, the "masked woman" comes into the room while the lady in white is injecting the captive person (not shown on screen).

The new glimpse of the blonde in the red dress (BITRD) provides a good look at her face, and her face (and especially her nose) looks much slimmer than the woman in the stasis tube.

So this (if any of it holds true; probably not though) could mean the masked woman, tube woman, and BITRD are THREE separate women...unless stasis tube woman and masked woman are one and the same.

As for the profile view of the masked woman you provide with your screencap, her chin and lips actually more resemble Jill's face in the REmake ending where Chris is left behind and Jill only escapes with Barry. If I was computer savvy enough, I'd do a screencap comparison, but I am not good with computers.

I don't think Sherry / Tube woman would be tall enough to be the penguin, I see her being around the same height as Sheva. There is a pic of Chris saving BIRD though so i'm probably wrong too your more than likely right about it being 3 separate woman.

My first theory was that the girl in the tube, and the masked girl were both Sherry, but now that we have another unidentified woman it makes things complicated.

It didn't look like the blonde from this new trailer was having fun. It looks like she was a bit roughed up, so why would she then slip on a mask and cloak and do *insert evil mission*.

Unless of course Sherry is being controlled somehow.

Has it occured to anyone that the person the woman in white is injecting with that serum is Oswall Spencer? From the end of Umbrella Chronicles it seems like he's on some kind of life support.

Nothing really new in this trailer except the blond girl. I didn't expect much and we probably won't know more about the characters until they are closer to being finished. For some reason I think the tube girl has been scrapped but if she hasn't I think she had short hair.

The masked woman is wearing all black...possibly the same black leather outfit as tube woman, only covered by a cloak and mask.

True...though in the new scans Dot just uploaded her neck is a bit more visible and it almost looks like you can see a strap of like a tank top on her shoulder (or a bra strap). Perhaps its just a shadow from the hood though.

I don't know, Mist and kevstah, what to think. I waffle between 3 separate women, or 2 separate women, or 1 woman.

I do believe that the stasis woman is the masked woman as well. If you look at all the media of her, she is completely covered by black. In the stasis pic I am including, you see the same black wardrobe (only without the mask and huge cloak). The thing I don't get, is why her face is covered when she is not in the tube. It would mean to me that she is someone that Chris or any other character would recognize. I don't even think the picture I am including was supposed to be released to the public (and why her eyes were the only thing visible in the trailer from last summer).

Or, maybe tube woman and masked woman aren't the same. Ugh. I don't know. *rips hair out*

As for the tube woman and the girl in the red dress...their faces are different. And red dress is small in stature and obviously a captive / victim of some sort. We see her mouth is bloodied (either from attempted infection, or she was beat up). She is in some state of duress, so Chris comes to her aid and she collapses in his arms. Maybe she is Sherry? Or maybe the tube woman is Sherry? The red dress woman appears young, and frail, and her being an apparent captive / victim would make her most likely to be Sherry.

Dirge...I still don't know if that life support dude from Ada's mission on UC is Spencer. The way Sergei spoke to him, and the way Wesker refers to him makes me believe he is just an insignificant Umbrella suit. BUT, the way his face is half-way concealed, and the not-so-subtle assisted breathing tubes have to mean something.

I do like your theory that the lady in white is possibly injecting Spencer with some sort of live preserving serum. (Ah, good old generic "serum," it is good for everything.) Perhaps Spencer is in the care of the lady in white, masked bodyguard, and fireworks guy? Then how does Wesker play into all this? Could he still be lurking in the background, watching Chris and influencing Chris to do his dirtywork? And since Wesker like to swoop in and steal other people's work, maybe the virus cultivation that is going on in Africa is the work of Spencer, and Wesker is there to steal that, too?

So much to consider. (P.S. kevstah...you're getting WAY too carried away if you're looking for freckles. Haha.)

Yeah, the mysterious masked woman resembles me to Jill too. I don't know if this is just wishful thinking... but.. well that woman could be Ada Wong... it would make much sense.

As usual Jill's Boob has really strong, awesome ideas. Bird girl and red dress might be different people....as you said their height is different (from what the videos show at least).

I wouldn't be surprised if Ada is somehow involved. Capcom has already shown that she is just a mystery as Wesker, and just like him, she tends to appear where new samples are. Her connection to him and her unnamed organization make me wonder when exactly we'll see her again (since its been confirmed/strongly hinted she won't be in Degeneration). However, Ada isn't the type to follow someone else's lead, so I doubt she would be bird mask. She would be more like the woman in the white dress. Ada isn't exactly known for dressing down in dire situations.


EDIT- The girl in red also has blood around her eye too.
