No, notice that in that night scene, there IS NO other person at the wheel of the Hummer. It's ONLY Chris and Sheva.
In the chase scene, we only see either of them at the SUNROOF, not at the back(since that would be open kills/hits for the Africans anyways). In the chase scene, Chris and Sheva are alternating; heck, in the TRAILER itself we see Sheva using the gun after the motorbikes land; and in the next camera change we see Chris manning the gun and Sheva disappeared.
Wrong study this picture carefully and you'll see both Sheva and Chris together

Hm, you make a point, yes, HOWEVER"
In one scene we have a camera over Sheva's shoulder, which clearly shows she is in the back.
However, the picture I just posted clearly also SHOWS CHRIS ALONE.
Meaning; either they leave the vehicle on cruise and double-team; or they have another driver up there(maybe it's the BSAA dude that gets squashed by the El Gigante-thing) or it's something different.
As for the co-op current; I suppose it'll have to be split-screen in the chase as well; when we are in live co-op.
So that clears that; both Chris and Sheva are manning the gun
I wish Capcom would at least show something else besides the village all the time. That's all we ever get to see.
I thought you could "care less" for RE5, and you are not excited for it AT ALL? These are things you have said.
As for the locales - I guess you didn't notice the Altar, the factory where Sheva kicks the Chainsaw Maniac (and Chris mans the machine gun nest), the caves, the hydrofoil (in the rain), the desert during the Humvee scenes, the prison cell where Excella Gionne is administering a needle to someone, etc. Seems there are a lot of locations so far.
The village in the beginning (early stages have the most polish, I'm sure) probably spans a good portion of the first few levels in the game. Some of it's been demoed - maybe that is why it feels repetitive.
Capcom will probably keep giving brief glimpses, since they want to maintain the "surprise factor."
I think they've already revealed significantly more information regarding RE5 in this short amount of time than they did with RE4 in the period of time between its first unveiling and its final release. Heck, if I remember correctly, we didn't even learn about Las Plagas until the game was finally released (early leaks from the stategy guide notwithstanding), and Capcom showed it was a similar parasite in RE5 by only the second trailer.
They've already officially revealed Wesker via Famitsu. While I imagine the reason they didn't reveal that Wesker was going to be in RE4 was because he played only a bit part initially, and they wanted to keep it a surprise, it is interesting how early they chose to reveal him for RE5 by comparison. While Capcom did reveal some elements of the castle portion of RE4, they kept the island completely under wraps. Compare that to all of the locations we've already seen through trailers in RE5.
While we certainly only scratched the surface of RE5's content (I think Takeuchi said in an interview that we've only seen about 10% of the final game, if that), it already seems like, to me, we've seen far more of RE5 than we ever did of RE4. I may be wrong, though. Perhaps the reason it seems like we've seen very little is because what we have seen so far has been very similar to RE4. Who knows.
Cool new screens, I like that they look so movie-like. And I'am totally agree with you here Archelon. EDIT Does anyone noticed that all of new screens can be seen in a latest Famitsu. And I just noticed that giant flying monster have a bat head, it's some freaking bat and insect hybrid.

I didn't see your post. Get a life and stop worrying about what I say. And though I could care less about RE5, I'm still following the RE news. It would be nice if they showed something else besides the same village over and over again. That's all.
The only thing that would make such a game even better would be if it was a kart racer. Chibi Nemesis ftw. <3
Haha. Reminds me of that racing mini-game in Mortal Kombat Armageddon. Speaking of MK Armageddon, that game was awesome for the simple fact that it has a Kreate-a-Fighter, and it is so expansive, that you can create almost any character. And I believe some people have created Jill Valentine.

I think they didn't show off much information of RE4 whent it was to be relieased because it was "the change", on the other hand, now with RE5 they can show much more info, because they are just showing "the improved change", so that means: they have much more surprises for us, just waiting in the game.... or whats done of it
