Some small news coming out of Gamefront, They are reporting that the english publication PSM2 UK Magazine have score Resident Evil 4 (PS2) a 97/100! Very good news for Capcom!
Can't member which magazine but the only ones I've bought have given it 10/10 each time. Which is damn rare and if is anything like the GC version then not entirely undeserved.
Does anyone else think that at least part of the reason that the PSX2 version is scoring so highly is due to the fact the Gamecube got the game first?
Or how about simply just because it was the GCN and not the PS2.
Every single game that has crossed platforms, no matter how identical they were (with the obvious higher performance on the GCN) was scored higher on the PS2.
Why?
Can you say: FAN-BOY
If it came out for PS2 first, and then the GCN version had all the added features, they'd still find something to bitch about and put the PS2 version over it.
