Gamespot has just posted a new video. This one showcases the extra costumes included in the PS2 version. A full breakdown of the video's contents will be up as soon as I finish downloading but in the meantime start dling!
You can download it here on Gamespots RE4 media page. The file is called "Official Movie 3".
Its a mystery why that scene was not triggered. We could speculate that it was removed possibly because Capcom had to take out certain scenes due to size limits however it should be said that Capcom has been touting the "Everything from the Gamecube version is in the PS2 version". It could be that since the PS2 will apparently be using pre-rendered videos without Leon or the other characters wearing their alternate costumes, that they decided to cut the cutscenes from the game when you are wearing one?

- Leon is shown running through the village with tommy gun and his new "Gangster" outfit . Interestingly, when he enters the house thats supposed to trigger a cutscene showing the introduction of the Chainsaw Ganado, that scene does not take place!
- He then starts blowing away villagers with his Tommy gun. Then performs a taunt where he smiles and raises his hat giving a "heh". This move was not in the Gamecube version, so it looks like PS2 owners can also look forward to taunting the Ganado.
- Ashley is following leon in he suit of armor costume next. The costume is complete with new sounds of heavy metal clanking down as she runs.
- The Garrador and Leon face off. Leon demonstrates that he can now shoot Ashley without hurting her while she is wearing the Armor costume, thus getting the Garrador's attention away from him and onto Ashley.
- He then employs a similar tactic with the Suits of Armor that attack you.
- Next up is Ashleys playable sequence where she must dodge the Suits of Armor...while wearing some herself. None of the attacks hurt Ashley at all while she is wearing the armor.
