No no on the scans unfortunately, but for all those interested the Jan 2009 issue of GamePro magazine has an in-depth feature on Resident Evil 5. The feature includes the following :
- A bunch of new screens from the game.
- "Enemy Sightings" which includes a list of animal-based enemies from the game like Bats, Hyena's, Giant Crocodiles and the ganado-style infected villagers.
- Gameplay information eg if you're mortally wounded you will start bleeding and your movement slows down to a crawl, your vision also distorts in a "beer goggle" style.
- Screens showing a "Marsh Boat sequence" which the magazine calls the "only free-roaming vehicle featured in the game".
- A look at the weapons featured in the game. The last listing in this column is "Secret Weapons" which GamePro refused to comment about. They also talk about weapon mods and a triple barreled shotgun. The multi-flavored grenade launcher rounds also return.
- The "Lobby system" replaces the Merchant. The magazine describes it as a screen where you can buy/upgrade your weapons or stash them for later usage.
The entire feature is 8 pages long and has a lot of other things in it. Pick up the magazine at your nearest news stand as soon as you can.
