Resident Evil 5 - Simultaneous release?

Gamespot is reporting that Capcom hopes to release Resident Evil 5 for both XBOX 360 and PS3 at the same time. However Keiji Inafune, Capcom Research & Development division chief currently doesnt know if this is possible since the PS3's release date is still unknown. He also hopes to make the Resident Evil franchise into a multi-platform series in this and future releases.

I'd rather they brought them out seperately since whichever one gets it second usually gets some cool extras. Still for me at least this is gonna decide which next gen console I acquire.
