Keiji Inafune Confirms New Dead Rising and Lost Planet Titles

In a forth coming Famitsu Interview Capcom's Keiji Inafune has confirmed that 2009 will see releases of new games in the Lost Planet and Dead Rising. More importantly he stresses the importance of multiplatform development, which would indicate that both games will be on the PS3 and 360.

I loved DR, though need to see if the new dev team can do a faithful sequel.

As for the multi-plat, I remember craving a PS3 port for quite some time. However I gave in to the 360 due to the framework engine working so much better on it. Will probably play both though.
