Possible Dead Rising 2 Teaser Leaked

A seemingly leaked teaser for Dead Rising 2 has hit the net today. While we have not heard any proper confirmation of a Dead Rising 2 in development, with the Capcom lawsuit over its only a matter of time.

Is that the one where you are trapped in a shopping mall and can use basically anything to survive ? I hope the sequel gets released for PS 3 this time too lol The original looked like so much fun even if the game is short.

Anyways, DR2 was announced recently to the public for both PS3/360 IIRC.

i'm not sure what too say about this, they were rumoring that the 2nd one was gonna take place in Las Vegas but I dunno if this is legit or not, will be glad if it is though.

I can't see why it wouldn't be legit. A bunch of mindless zombies? In a casino? Where people act like mindless zombies? Social commentry at it's finest...well, Capcom's finest. It all looked about right to me, but I'm no computer genius to sit and disect it into pieces to find the flaws.

Don't know what to make of this. The skakeycam suggests to me it's not real, but it does look and sound pretty legit. It's well cut together if it's fake.

The reason I call it fake is because look at the tags. One of the tags is "FAKE" literally the word.

The "fake" word in the tags is put up only by the video poster right? I have uploaded video on youtube before and it's the uploader's own choice to choose words for tagging them in search function. Why would he/she put it up but give themselves away for that?

Well in theory, aside from actually being fake, I'd drop that as a keyword in there because (fake or not) people spreading the link around will probably say it's fake so searching for it will come up.

Personally I think it looks almost too good to be fake, but there is plenty of reason to believe otherwise too.

A supposed shakycam video of Dead Rising 2 has just surfaced on YouTube, and sources close to Capcom have promised us it’s the real thing.

We contacted Capcom to be told by a rep that he had personally not seen this video, but as far as Dead Rising 2 goes, nothing has “officially” been confirmed nor released at this time.

Judge for yourself after the break — if you can make anything out of the fuzziness.

Given Capcom's recent use of viral marketing, I wouldn't be surprised if this "leak" was of their own doing to drum up interest before the actual reveal in the next couple of months.
