RE5 Producer Wants to Make a New Wii Resident Evil

Capcom's Masachika Kawata has commented that now that Resident Evil 5 has finished, he would like to make a new RE title for the Wii.

"Personally I would like to create something on Wii in the Resident Evil family," Kawata said. "At the moment we don't know and have just been working on RE5, so watch this space."

And maybe it'll play like REmake or the old games.
Or maybe it'll be another Umbrella Chronicles.
Or maybe none of the above.

As far as RE5 on the Wii, the producer already had stated that the Wii isn't even capable of handling RE5's intro. I rather it be a REmake of RE2. Just like the original REmake. No first person view shooting just pre rendered backgrounds and 3D characters.

RE2 done like the REmake. Probably the best thing they could do for the wii since the RE4 engine would look crappy on the wii now when compared to the PS3/360. Pre-rendered graphics would be the better choice to use for the wii.

This. Considering I bought a Wii for basically the sole purpose of being able to play UC...I would love to have more RE games, no matter what they they were.
