Ubisoft to distribute Resident Evil 4 PC

News comes our way that Capcom and Ubisoft have signed a deal allowed Ubi to publish three Capcom titles including Resident Evil 4 for the PC. Details were released via Ubisofts website.

Ubisoft announced that it has signed an agreement with Capcom to distribute Resident Evil 4, Onimusha 3 and Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening Special Edition video games for the PC. Ubisoft will distribute Capcom’s games in North American and European territories beginning in February 2006 with the release of Onimusha 3: Demon Siege.

At this point its not very clear what developer studio will be handling the port, and if Ubi will only be a publisher and such. Hopefully in the coming days we will learn more. One thing is for sure, Capcom wont be handling the port from console>pc. They have already stated that their understanding of PC ports is very limited.

Were the previous DMC and Onimusha games ported to the PC as well? I could have sworn some of them at least were but I was told otherwise by someone who may very well be wrong.

Talking about ports... wasnt RE Code Veronica supposed to be ported over too? Like years ago?
