It's interesting that they're putting this much effort into the back story and establishing of BSAA. I get the feeling we'll be seeing the organisation a lot more in the series.

hopefully they will learn from their mistakes of REmake and RE0, and actually give those people some useful role instead of being just a random person who die after less than 1 minute of screen time, or just plain dead right from the start (the entire STARS bravo team save for Enrico/Rebecca, Joseph Frost etc)

Same here. Here's to BSAA Europe!

Okay. I'm surprised this hasn't been said before. I know RE5 isn't out yet, but, given those cool-ass links, which do you like better?

                        UBCS or BSAA?

I agree, it is nice to see the support characters have "some" substance, if only to make their deaths more significant.

Though I am still quite partial to "Mike" from RE4 (I actually liked him more than any other character in that game), even though he was nothing more than a faceless pilot who died within minutes.

And CR29 - BSAA is much better than UBCS in my book. But I imagine UBCS will get the popular vote. They are remembered fondly.

Well, the UBCS will be remembered for its notable contributions to the realm of bastardry. Such revered arseholes as Nicholai Ginovaef and Sergei Vladimir. But on the opposite side of the coin, you've also got unmemorable cockhives like Carlos Oliveira whose only redeeming feature now would be to include him in some kind of sidequel featuring a certain tropical island fortress that has been mentioned numerous times in the past.

BSAA? You've got Chris, he's always been a pillar of man. Josh, I'd like to see more of him. He's got that third-person NPC charm to him, and of course Sheva, she's a young and idealistic character but with a few hidden secrets I'm sure.

At the end of the day it's tough to say.

A "cockhive?" You are on a roll lately, my friend. That had me laughing out loud.

I also think Carlos Homoliveira is a lackluster character.

And Josh does have a bit of charm to him, for an NPC. I have a keen interest in his "Oh shit" line of the recent trailer.
