Playr RE 5 Special Premiers This Weekend, New Video

Playr have produced a half-hour special dedicated to RE5. The programme will features never-before seen levels, walkthroughs as well as interviews with the production team and Capcom staff, and their self-made trailer. In the UK, catch it 11.00am Sunday 1st March on Bravo.

They have a short, youtube video teaser showcasing Capcom's Leo Tan introduction to a boss fight in the game. The boss itself has already been shown before and isn't anything new, but it still contain mild spoiler of some sort. Please watch it at your own risk.

The official Bio5 site has been updated too, showcasing the characters that will be appearing in the game. For some reason, Ricardo Irving doesn't have a character profile at all, and the bird lady's protrait is up there, but is in some sort of a 'hidden' mode. The BSAA members have their profile up too.

There is also a section showcasing a map with a brief BSAA organisation information. The main BSAA page has been updated too.

To celebrate the launch of the game, it seems that Tv-Tokyo is going to screen the first RE movie that day.

Finally, 2 tracks from the OST is now up for retail on Itunes. the tracks are:
Opening - Chris's Arrival (Digital Ver.)
Pray - Theme Song (Digital Ver.)

The rest will be up on March 5th , when the game hits the shelf there. The 2 tracks retail for 150 yen each.

1UP: Speaking of where the Resident Evil series is now, the last two games focused on the Las Plagas infected enemies. Do you think we'll ever see a return to plain-old, stupid-ass zombies?

JT: Yes, certainly, I think that's a possibility some time in the future. I don't think the type of enemies we have in the series right now have to be in the series forever. I think you might see a return to the slow zombies of old someday.

Oh fuck yeah. This might just confirm that they may be going back to the horror again the future. Hence, "reboot".

Seems like this game is getting better and better, plus the tracks sound pretty interesting tbh. It also is rather funny how a lot of video games have their own actual theme song with lyrics with them too, much like big budget movies have.

Have you heard them yet? Itunes won't let me purchase the tracks because they are exclusive to the Japanese store, but i did listen to the 30 second samples. Sounds interesting.

Ah, well. Hopefully someone will stream them on Youtube or another site. I'm REALLY anxious to hear the theme song, "Pray." Speaking of which, I need to get around to pre-ordering the soundtrack. I'm really looking forward to, because from what we've heard, the music in RE5 is really lovely.

I have problem creating an itune store account, so I can't buy them. I heard the 30 secs sample though....pretty top notch compared to the previous games. probably because both of they are vocal tracks
