Playr's RE 5 Special Video Online (MAJOR SPOILERS)

The RE5 special feature which Playr airs this weekend is now available online. It last 15 minutes, and it contain extremely massive spoilers. couldn't watch the rest of it too much spoilers for me i want it to be a surprise and suggest this for everyone.

I skipped about half of the video to save myself from some spoilers, but some of the areas I saw looked AMAZING!!!!!!!! I really think the level design is second to none. It's like MGS4 in that the environments are pretty linear, in general, but there are a few different paths to take that will place you in the same destination and it encourages exploration for rare items/weapons. It's also b-e-a-utiful, just like MGS4. However, one thing that really extends the replay value for me is that Sheva and Chris split up a good amount as evident by the demo and recent vids. This means that doing a playthrough as Chris and then doing it as Sheva will let you see many new things, and perhaps lead the game to be 10-20% new a second time through.

They should release the damn thing worldwide on the 3rd before all the footage is leaked/spoiled.

I still don't understand their fixation with Friday the 13th as a release date. It's not like the game has anything to do with the 13th. It won't bring bad luck and it sure as hell isn't scary.

Sorry, mini-rant complete. I just want the friggin' thing early and find a Friday release date to make absolutely no sense.

A game being released on a Friday, and this case, a Friday the 13th, makes it more marketable as a big blockbuster of a game akin to a big blockbuster movie being release on a Friday (and since hardly any games receive Friday release dates it won't have to compete with any new released titles on that day), as well as a more horror-centric affair. I think we all know RE5 won't be very, if at all, scary but Capcom seems to have gotten rather schizo with the marketing campaign, advertising the game as a sort of shellshock induced terror-filled thrill ride, but also as a huge action packed extraordinaire. Attempting to hit both ends of the spectrum I suppose.

I wach it yesterday on Brovo im not kidding when I say Capcom have all ready spoiled the game they have shown too meany spoilers know im not kidding if another trailer comes they might as well show us the final fight sence they have pritty much spoilt the whole game.

^Yeah, Capcom really had a lot of influence on how Bravo TV organized the content of their program. And Capcom certainly has forced you to frequent an internet site devoted to coverage of the game. And Capcom forces you to seek out all of their media.

In this day & age, if you don't want to know anything, avoid all news prior to the release of the item.

I watched the whole thing, and yes, there is alot of spoilers, but of course I won't say anything, for 1. Not the right thread, 2. Will get my ass kicked :O

Anyways, this only made me more excited for the game to be honest
