Well whats the difference in playing it now and next thursday lol you still playing the game. Not like its half the game or something.

So you're either (a) admitting it's cool to play a pirated copy and condoning piracy or (b) saying that knowing exactly what happens during the course of the entire game before playing it is just as good as being surprised by the events of the game itself.

Hey, great logic! Why don't I just read the entire plot online, and not even bother playing the game?! It'll save me $60!

I have my 360 modded and i honestly don't see whats wrong with downloading RE5 and playing it early, and buying the collector's edition when it comes out. I can't seem to find it however.

maybe there is no diference for you but some people can play the game and dont like it or dont think it i wort it and then dont buy the original game,thats why it hurts the industry.

I meant it more for people who are still going to go out and purchase the game, I consider this leaked version a backup.

So, if they hate it, they should spend $60 on a game they don't like? If they don't like it, they should just delete it. If I had a modded 360 and downloaded a game I was on the fence about buying and hated it, there's no way in hell I'd spend $60 of my hard earned money on it just to "be honest". I'd delete it.

The thing about games nowadays is that if you buy it and it and you don't like it, you're pretty much screwed. The minute you take that plastic wrapper off, there goes any chance of getting your $ back. The only thing it's good for is credit at Gamestop (or other game store).

Since I don't have a modded 360, I rent the games to try em out.

Congratulations. And yes, I see your point. However, downloading is illegal. Downloading RE5, even if you own the game, have bought the game, intend to buy the game, is illegal. We will not have any of that crap here.

Most anything you buy nowadays is un-returnable once you remove the wrapping. In fact, that has been the criteria for a long time. Yet society has managed to progress just fine.

Except in the past, people didn't have the options to rent games and try them out, or download demos to play and get a feel for the game. So nowadays, more than ever, people like you should be thankful to be able to give merchandise a test spin before deciding on whether or not to purchase. And for God's sake, you have the internet to peruse tons of reviews from critics, other gamers; opinions even run rampant on forums. There are so many factors to tell you if a game is "worth it."

Saying that you would download an illegal copy (just to save your "hard earned cash") to "try it out," when you can accomplish the same thing with a demo, is ludicrous. But I guess only your situation matters, and you don't think about the fact that piracy affects the profits of companies where other people work long hard hours in order to earn their own cash.

Not suprised the game got leaked and I'm not worried about reading any spoilers about the game on this site at least.
