  • TriCell Progenitor Virus Detection Kit + More RE5 Prequel Comic Impressions

TriCell have developed this new progenitor virus detection kit (swag) that you can have at a price. The kit is meant to detect and suppress the virus. The package comes with some discs, protective gloves, a containment bag, skin sanitizer and a face shield.

Kotaku have also posted some impressions from the Wildstorm Resident Evil 5 prequel comic. Even though its supposed to be a RE5 prequel, Chris doesn't appear in the comic at all. The full impressions can be read at the link below.

From reading that, I don't think that expecting an appearance by Redfield was too much for me to ask, but alas, it isn't so. What we do get is the appearance of enemies from previous games. A Licker makes the scene first, while Holiday's team takes on a horde of Tyrants.

RE5 prequel is it official? I was thinking the comic would be a Chris story but this seems like a fanfic to me

Haha...not only does the comic feature characters with generic, laughable designs - but they have names to match.

            Holiday Sugarman, Mina Gere?

            Jesus Christ.

I'd rather re-read the "Fall of Umbrella" manga repeatedly than ever pick up one of these American crapfests.

Hey, guys. Call the Tricell customer service hotline: 718-874-9446

I don't know what they will end up doing with the recorded messages though...

I left a message with my name and number(lol), but, I doubt I'm gonna hear anything in return.

It's probably just another small part of RE5's INSANE amount of advertising.

That looks awesome. I don't know if I'd want to really buy it depending on the price, but I like the idea.

Also someone call the number and leave a message of ARGH BLARGH BLARGH or BRAIIIIINS.

I pretended I was scared and crying, and asked for help. And then I left my name and number, and after a few seconds of whimpering, I said..."Itchy. Tasty," and finished my message. I got into it. I got a little carried away.
