Up Coming Biohazard 5 DLC Content Revealed

This was reported on our forums earlier by fellow forumer Umon Daisuke and now Joystiq are reporting this as well. The PS3 version of the game has received some updated trophies which reveal the names of the game modes that will be added in after the DLC. These include Slayers, Survivors, Team Slayers, Team Survivors and Versus.

I'm confused too, though I would believe that Slayer and Survivor (both Solo or Team mode) won't be much of a improvement. I mean, in terms of game mechanics and game modes, they didn't move so much from the RE4 formula in RE5. So, I don't really think Slayer or Survivor will be something originally cool.

Despite of this, I have some faith on Versus mode...that seems to have something originally cool at least it seems to be an innovation in the RE World.

If it's not, well I will be happy if more playable characters appear. I felt dissapointed regarding how few they were in Mercenaries mode.

DLC free? Unlikely. I've never heard of any expansion packs being free, especially with that much content packed into it.

the DLC will probably be free since its only additional game modes, not actual maps and shit .. (unless they announce that as well)..

Sure, Capcom is selling costumes for SFIV so you think this will be free? Tecmo charged $3.99 per survival mode (3 in total) and Capcom isn't exactly known for generosity.

Not sure, but if this is free, I'd be very surprised.. and it's the only way I'm getting it. Co-op in story mode is good enough for me personally.
