Biohazard 5 Week 1 Sales

Famitsu have posted the sales for the last week which include Biohazard 5. The PS3 version sold a massive 320,000 units meanwhile the 360 version sold a very respectable 70,000.

Nearly 400,000. Not too shabby considering the sorry state of console software sales Japan finds itself in. I predict at least 1.2 million first week sales here in the states. Maybe up to or beyond 1.5 million.

yeah forgot about that microsoft was made in america i keep thinking that xbox 360 was made in japan i have no idea why i keep thinking it, its maybe because capcom keeps making games for xbox so i got use to it so well anyway your right.

well that just you but a lot of people think different and the pc beats out a ps3 and xbox 360 put together and thats just the way it is.

I didn't expect the 360 version to sell all that much, Japan was never fond of American consoles *shrugs* oh well.

Still though, not bad in general, almost 400 units.

I'm assuming we'll see a reverse here in the states when it comes to which version sells best, however? (I'm assuming the 360 version will top the PS3 one over here).

It's good to see that it'll be making it pass the half million mark over there, and that would probably be done in the next day or two. I'd imagine they will beat their 3 million mark for the fiscal year, which is always a good thing. Congratulations to them so far, it looks like it'll soon go over the 9 mark on meta critic too.
