Capcom's Limb-Hunt Competition Nearly Ends in Disaster

Readers might remember a report about Capcom holding a contest in London where they spread fake body parts through out the streets and the person to find the most would win a trip to Africa. The contest is over and one Steve Long managed to out score everyone else.

But the contest almost ended in disaster when people started calling the cops because the fake body parts looked too real. Further more several of the parts have gone missing and Capcom reps are afraid that people might mistake them for the real thing. Oh wow, I'm amazed that ANYONE, let alone a company like Capcom, would even think this was a good idea.
Then again, I guess we here in the States wouldn't have been any less suspicious. I mean, after all, there was the whole "Aqua Teen Hunger Force" bomb scare thing back in '07. We called in a bomb squad to get rid of some lite-brites, so I can't imagine how people would react to a bunch of dismembered limbs and heads being strewn everywhere.

...wait, so they scattered body parts, blood and gore dripping body parts, around the capital of the UK? Where small children and old folk regularly go? And then had gamers, also known as 'socipathic murderous scum' to most folk thanks to the medias lovely efforts, to go hunt down said body parts?
