It's worth noting they're already pinching other game assets - Leon's outfit is the bonus costume model from RE4.

Well, it would be a little pointless to make an entirely new model, that would eventually look like the one from RE4, just for the sake of it. However, his head is new - at least I think so.

As long as it's nothing like "Raccoon City Destruction" from RE:UC, where everything (minus Jill, Carlos, Nemesis and maybe Grave Digger) was taken from Outbreak because someone was too lazy to actually do locations Jill and Carlos visited, and monsters they encountered in RE3, I don't think it's bad.

About that... I think it won't happen. It looks like Claire and Leon are together, just like Chris and Jill were in REmake scenario in RE:UC. And that worries me the most :/.

which means that they're either going to throw in william and X in the same scenario, or retcon one of them out (and since willy is an integral story character, its probably gonna be X).

I think that trailer was good at leasy it show us what has been inproved on the game so fair compaered to UC I wounder if the whole game is just playing as Leon and Claire I caint wait like it may not be a remake we wanted but this will have to do for know.

HOLY MOLY. Claire looks amazing. Oh, my God, she is so beautiful, I want to die! Wow, I really like the new look, especially the shorts. She's just stunning. The trailer was really interesting, as were all the screens they released. God, this is exciting. GAH!

I'm not a huge fan of the total clothing redesign for Claire. The jeans really make it sort of eh. But the rest out of the outfit isn't bad imo. She herself still looks AMAZING so thankfully icons will be made and I will be a happy camper. 8D

Claire model is based on her Degeneration looks, for sure, look at the face, is the same.

Leon got a retouch, I hope they don't make him as the robot he was on Degenration (he was still a bad-ass, but he had no more punchlines... boring).

Anyway, as long as they add Wesker somehow, I'm in (I'm thinking on Code: Veronica part...)

While I overall like Leon, 4 and Degen alike I do understand and even agree with you there. Especially since what he was in RE2 to all of the later titles was an evolution of character (whether you view it as a good or bad one), it's suck if it were lost in a remake though I doubt it would be. Especially given we get much of that to begin with, if it follows closely in UC's footsteps then the scenes and talking won't be very long. XD

As for Claire's design: Seriously, they couldn't fix the spandex under jean shorts look? Who dresses like that? Is she a college student or a member of Hell's Angles?

What's to fix? She's only a part-time student -- she's a full-time sexy biker chick(circa 1998).
