During the launch event for RE5, IGN cornered the Capcom staff and 'interrogated' them regarding RE: The Dark Side Chronicles. You can view the article below.

The info they managed to dig out:
- not only the players gets to witness significant events of Resident Evil 2, but there will be new areas too
- expect to see more "main characters" from the series make appearances
- the new "evade" move will be something new to the on-rails genre
- decapitating zombies is being made easier
- set for a winter 2009 release

I think it looks horrible. Another RE not made by Shinji will be a disaster, just like REUC.

But it's returning to Raccoon, I'm happy.

I'm hoping that they do a post RE2 level (like in the first RE:UC) that might cover Claire/Leon finding Sherry! (that way all of RE/RE2 character's plotlines are done with, making plenty of room to move onto new ones in RE6).
