  • Resident Evil 5 DLC Dated and Priced in Japan

Capcom revealed the DLC's release date and price for Japan: March 26th, priced at 160 Microsoft Points on Xbox Live and ¥250 on PSN.
Just a side note, there is a difference between the Japanese and US prices, the US version is about double, priced at $4.99 on PS3 and 400 MSP on 360. The question is why?

i'm guessing because the DLC is multiplayer centric, and Japan isn't exactly hot on multiplayer titles. Capcom knows that.

Still an obvious price gouge...the DLC additions are really nothing significant they should have been in the full game. And judging by the leak they were. I'm not pissed about the $5...just the deception.

It's more than fair since no one in the west except for importers paid Y8800 for the regular edition fo the game (that's about $90 USD).
