As previously mentioned, Jun Takeuchi (the producer of Resident Evil 5 and the upcoming Lost Planet 2) is a guest on the latest episode of the Capcom's Top Secret: The Bionic Commando Podcast. Here he answers a few user submitted Resident Evil 5 questions that have been hand picked from the many submitted ones by users at the Bionic Commando forums and Capcom-Unity. He also talks a little about the recently announced Lost Planet 2.

At least he said they were trying ways to go back to the old RE style. That's pretty illuminating for future titles.

Doesn't this contradict what Chris Krammer said about RE5 was a closure chapter and an attempt to make a total reset into the series and say goodbye to the spirit of the old games forever? (or something like this...)

Yeah, Kramer is not a reliable source for things like this. I guess he gets told a series of answers and whether they're the right ones is up in the air.

Hmm, again, not much in the way of a definitive answer, but of course its not like i expected one or that there should be one. They just finished Re5, and plans for Re6, or even further dlc for Re5 must be either non-existent.

But its interesting to see questions being asked post game, it feels weird having beat it.
