That Ju-On game actually utilize the Wiimote as a torchlight too just like Shattered memories.

        he's right.

        its an enjoyable experience.

and on RE5, i tohught my friend would have his 360 fixed but he decided to buy a laptop instead. hence not many people to play with, and everyone else disconnects in mid level (doubt its anyone on this board though)

still i wonder if juon will be released in the states

The cleavage showing Cybil makes me want to gag. I really hope they change that by the time the game comes out. It just looks silly on a police officer.

but that's the twist, it's not a remake, its a "reimagining" besides the central character and his "save daughter" motive, it's going to be very different from the original title.

In terms of story yes, but the game designer for Shattered Memories says it looks like a 360/PS3 game... how this is possible if the game engine is made to work on both Wii, PS2 and PSP!!!!!!!!!!!!.

this is ridicoluous, at this point I'm not gonna be surprised if Shattered Memories will come on DS too.

A slight possibility that a game uses the same engine across multiple platforms doesn't really mean much.

An engine can have assets, details and functionality that still only gets put to use on specific platforms.

As for NDS + Silent Hill; I wouldn't mind (I would pre-order.) It's still the platform I would love the most to see a straight port of Silent Hill 1 brought to (and also the platform I'd love to see something like Metal Gear done on)... but where's my Deadly Silence 2?

They said that after watching the game running on the Wii. They haven't look at the version running on the PS2 and PSP, so both the PSP and PS2 version might look severely downgraded.

Usually multiplatform low cost projects use same identical engine on Wii and PS2, let's take as esample Alone in The Dark 5 and Star Wars The Force... controls apart Wii and PS2 versions are the same exact game... and however PS3/360 used another engine.

This is why i'm complaining, if Shattered Memories had a proper Wii engine instead of an old multiplatform engine it would be better looking.

                        @AJ
if game designers said that after watching the game running on the Wii, they have to buy a good pair of glasses.

IGN claimed that it was one of the best looking games on the wii they've seen so far ..

it doesn't really matter what the technology was originally used for, most game engines are scalable to add more stuff based on the hardware they're working with.

A-J you know better than me how many bulls*it are saying the guys over at IGN during the last days... most of them are posted here as news.

I don't trust IGN, I'm seeing with my own eyes a bunch of screenshots surfaced on the net... the graphics looks good but it's very far from being "the best looking game on the wii they've seen so far".

well screw IGN then lol, and it's not like this is the first time a wii/psp thing has happened :p

the latest technu game was a pretty good looking title on the wii (as far as i know) and it was ported to the PSP too ..

                                we'll see

But for now i'm planning to avoid this sort of low cost remake, i prefer spend my money in quality games like Dead Space Extraction and Fatal Frame.
