New Darkside Chronicles info from GameInformer

According to GameInformer's May 2009 preview of Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles, the game will focus on retelling Resident Evil 2 and CODE: Veronica, but will also have a new chapter featuring Leon in South America. The game still has no solid release date, but it seems the game may have online multiplayer.

You know this is rather ironic. A couple days before, I had read the Q & A Code Veronica article posted up on Project Umbrella; pointing out to a few others the statement:
"What was Leon doing when Claire sent e-mail to him?

Hironobu Kato:
Leon is one of the members of an anti-Umbrella group. When Claire sent e-mail to him, he was doing another anti-Umbrella task and he couldn't go help Claire. -This story is already complete but I can't tell you what kind of story yet. Jill, Barry and Leon are member of anti-Umbrella group, but group that Jill in and others in is same or not is unknown."

After reading that, I just blindly assumed that one day they may actually reflect upon that unknown scenario.

good point, the RE5 prequels introduce some weird fucked up things and it's supposed to be set in current times as well ..

regarding the South America scenario, how about more Krauser & Leon backstory? I mean, RE4 doesn't explain exactly how he "died" and there is only a little reference during the History Of RE dossier! Try to imagine Leon and Krauser in South America together. it would be fucking awesome.

if it's co-op it's fine, but i hope to god they don't try to sneak in some botched on-rails versus mode or something ..

hmm, you know what, that makes a lot of sense. I mean they could pull off an X-men origins and try to go into great detail about Krauser and Leon's backstory.
