Man if I could I would make that South America scenario so relevant to the plot. Have Leon in his Anti-Umbrella Pursuit and Investigation Team days. Throw Wesker in there, as well as an implication of Leon learning of Ada's alliance with him. Have Krauser somewhere in there too.

Sadly, it'll most likely be set after Degeneration. =(

I'd be willing to bet that if Excella weren't already dead, Leon would have ended up killing her at some point.

Basically, anyone who hates Leon thinks putting Leon in a new RE game is fan service for all the Leon fanboys and fangirls who had never played an RE game before RE4.

It's quite simple, really.

Or, some people just hate Leon for being the unintentionally hilarious douchebag that he turned into post-RE2.

But seeing as you like to dress up as him and take thousands of pictures in various video game stances, I'd expect you to instead be biased toward him and thus feel that you are elevated above the horrible folks who are tired of seeing the piss poor character.

I mean, in the last 5 years, he's been in RE4, Degeneration, AND will be featured prominently in DSC.

Oversaturation of a dumb character. It's quite simple, really.

Regardless of all the chatter and hate, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't excited for this game.

Well, since you haven't played REUC yet...you'd be skeptical if you had been one of the fans anticipating that game and then actually played it.

And this is coming from a guy who doesn't even hate REUC as much as a majority of people. I think it is a decent game. Just decent. Nothing more.

Okay...a few characters being in an ensemble game (UC) and RE5 is comparable to one character being in the longest RE game (4), a feature length CGI film, AND an upcoming ensemble game (DSC)? Huh?
