Yes kids, DON'T try punching boulders that are bigger than you are! It dosn't work. 
I don't care who you are or what training you've had... nobody on earth could punch a boulder like that and make it move. You would just shatter your hands and or wrists.
That was my most hated part of RE5. Not just because it was so damn ridiculous and stupid but the button mashing thing SUCKED!
I died 4 or 5 times before I did it on normal. It was stupid and cheap, at the end of the game to be suddenly thrown an out of place button mashing sequence. There was no skill involved other than the 'skill' of hammering the face buttons and wiggling the thumb stick like a lunatic.
At least when you do the last bit as Sheva, you only get a brief 'pull yourself up' mashing sequence.
btw: Big Stu, Archelon was saying the laser dodge was not impossible not the boulder punching.
