If all the characters will be together at the same time, looks to me like they're going to retcon the whole event with Sherry being impregnated by William. (and thus any importance she had after RE2).

Kawata has already said that the main goal of the RE2 scenario (aside from escaping Raccoon City) is for Leon and Claire to find the cure for Sherry's G-Virus infection.

I assume he meant the Devil vaccine and by "G-Virus infection" the implantation of the G embryo.

i believe the only real reason they were apart to begin with is the fact they wanted to do the whole choose your path thingy (between male and female) and they do meet up quite a bit.

I would have been HORRIFIED had they been making all these changes in a RE2 remake but because this is just an arcade style, on rails shooter, I'm okay with it.

The rewriting in UC is just that although I still want an apology

The sequel it going to blow away UC by graphics alone.

i actually think this is good, there were lots of times when i was playing resident evil 2 and i was like hmmmmm....how come leon and claire dont see eachother as there passing into different rooms and such but this new twist is difficult becuase there together form the beginning which means Athey meet up in the city and then go to the poilice station B the big truck never hits there car splitting them up.....which then dosnt make sense becuase they could have just drove to the police station ill just have to wait and see.....

You know, judging from the screenshots all I see is a good way to combine both leon and claires different scenarios. I could see claire and Ada teaming up after leon is shot to speak to annette/save (or find) sherry. Also the pic of leon protecting sherry could occur when she gets seperated from claire in the sewer in the original cannon. I really doubt we'll see 4 characters at once since I think this is two player. So I guess what I'm saying is this might not go against cannon (at least in terms of major events) together or not.
