I like the idea or merging the different scenarios seen in RE2, but Sherry running to Leon and NOT Claire? Sounds wrong to me.

I think Sherry is going to run to leon's o claire's armes depending of th escene. if you are running from a monster and you have leon closer than claire, you'll run to where leon is.
And I'm glad claire and ada look so different. I'm tired all capcom women look the same with different haircut... And we all know claire is more macho than ada

At the risk of starting another "OMG they changed Jill's hair color" style debate: Am I the only one who's a bit pissed about them changing the color of Claire's shorts?
Why are they blue? What's wrong with pink shorts?
I'd be concerned if Leon was wearing pink cut-offs but what's wrong with Claire wearing them? Claire's RE2 gear is cool. Pink shorts over black bike leggings. I'm pretty sure even the flashback scene in Degeneration showed her wearing the pink shorts.
The blue shorts remind me too much of her boring, unflattering outfit from CV. I'm not happy about the change.

Ada is looking nice as usual but I agree that she shouldn't be wearing the extra holsters etc. It dosn't make sense because she's supposed to be posing as a civilian.
But I've got a feeling that a lot about this game wont be making much sense... (I'm still excited about it though)

I think the whole Sherry running to Leon depends on who you are playing as if your Claire then she will go to Leon if your Leon she goes to Claire that might be it I doint now.

It would be nice once the game was nearing completion, they decided to scrap the Code Veronica and South America scenarios, and just make this a remake instead. The RE2 scenario is already looking like a remake. But I know Capcom won't do that. Just wishful thinking.

i wish they would do another remake like the one fore gamecube i mean those graphics still hold up to this day imagine if they used the power of the 360 for good instead of action orientated r.e i miss zombies and tank controls,,i say this in like every post by the way

Totally 100% agree with this. UC!Birkin was absolutely dreadful. So out-of-character and painfully voice-acted. Oh lawd.

OT But God Virus is such a better name for it than Gene Virus.

This, especially with the fact it's vaccine is called DEVIL, and all viruses are gene viruses anyway.

On topic, I'm glad that they didn't take the RE3 UC scenario approach to RE2, the side characters, bosses and locations seem to be preserved which is a good sign, and it's probably the closest we're going to get to an RE2 Remake for the time being.

Definitely, Birkin was supposed to be 30 something with a wife and kid at the time and he sounded like he was just hitting puberty. Not to mention Wesker's Reports and Zero make them out to be as equals who took a different path, with Birkin just as calculating and intelligent (if not more so).
