Silent Hill : Shattered Memories Trailer

IGN are on a roll today, first with the new Darkside Chronicles trailer, and now they've put up the first trailer for Silent Hill : Shattered Memories. Along with the trailer they've put up new hands on impressions from the Wii version of the game. Shattered Memories is scheduled for the Wii, PS2 and PSP later this year.

The developers said that they're aiming to produce graphics similar to what a 360/PS3 can do on an SDTV. But so far it doesn't look any better than the PS2 Silent Hills.

As someone who's never been a big fan of the Silent Hill series, this game has me thoroughly intrigued.

So it is true... about there being two different versions of "Cybil" (the professional-looking one and the sexy-one). Looks very interesting.

The developers said that they're aiming to produce graphics similar to what a 360/PS3 can do on an SDTV. But so far it doesn't look any better than the PS2 Silent Hills.

Seeing as how Homecoming overall looks worse than SH3 or SH4 (even though technically-wise it is better), I don't mind SM looking like previous PS2 SH games. Especially since SH3 still looks damn amazing.

While I think the first Silent Hill is great as-is, I'm definitely intrigued (EVEN THOUGH NO WII). I liked the fear in Harry's voice upon finding out Cheryl's gone. The town changing also looks cool.

The whole psyche-profile stuff sounds really cool, but... why a remake (sorry, "re-imagining") of the first game? Climax has made it as apparent as possible they're not staying true to the original in hardly any way whatsoever; why not just make a completely new game? It just doesn't make much sense to me.

For a Wii game, looks very good. Like the ice change over effects. No not like the enemy design though... colors are too vivid and design is fairly... bland (although not as bad as the highlighter fluro "IM THE ENEMY" colors in Homecoming).

Interesting, but still want to see more... I think this is one of those games they need to show some video more of the psych profile thing changing gameplay to get people hooked.

This looks really amazing. And i love the idea of two different Cybil's, i wonder who that will play out.

And i wonder what's the reasoning behind all the ice? probably something to do with the story, and I'm loving the old style graphics, it's good to see one last game in PS2 graphics. I love PS2.

This game has me intrigued.

This game has got my attention and looks very creepy. Always thought that the silent hill games were more tense than RE. Haven't played a SH game since the 2nd game and this game looks like it will bring me back.
