Resident Evil : Uprising (Mobile) Released

Courtesy of Siliconera, Capcom have released a Resident Evil 2 spinoff featuring Claire Redfield, for the mobile phones titled "Resident Evil : Uprising". The game seems to feature an isometric point of view and includes classic RE enemies like zombies and tyrants. A fact-sheet for the game can be read here.

Oh, these mobile games just don't stop, do they? Sometimes I feel like they are a sincere waste of time, but I always get suckered into them. I guess I'll have to purchase this, too. (Hopefully it's available on my phone.) But, given how difficult it was for me to play Genesis on my Blackberry, I assume this one will complicated as well. I'm excited to see Claire as the main character. That's pretty neat.

I wonder if Neptune will play this. It certainly looks at least a few smidges better than the confidential report games.

I wonder if Neptune will play this. It certainly looks at least a few smidges better than the confidential report games.

i wouldnt mind, my fone is compatible for these types of games, although i couldnt get Genesis to work.

What interests me is firstly, who makes it?
As its a sequel to Genesis that lends itself to it being a capcom developed game which adds more weight.

Welsh i believe was one the first to find and translate the Genesis file, and locate new files within that game. These will be added to PU timeline when it gets made, something biohaze have also done. These were small tidbits such as the Trevors anniversary date, but it all makes a better picture i think, and because its capcom made game, these files shouldnt be excluded.

So whilst my interest in the game itself is slim, any new files would be great and they wud be part of the mythos albeit with a disclaimer attached.

i will try and get the game and report something on it.

I'm up for this game if i can find it for my N95...but i do sorta wish they were catering more for slightly more modern phones...with hardware like the iPhone on the market, stuff like this seems like releasing Master System games!
