Resident Evil PSP Announced

During Sony's E3 briefing keynote, Jack Tretton announced that a new Resident Evil title is heading for the PSP early 2010. Keep checking back on this post for more information as it is revealed.

Hard to speculate much from an image like that and no more details ATM. But the image makes me think Raccoon City. (ala the end of RE3 when they shoot to the scene in the streets before it goes up in smoke)

I'm completely excited for this announcement...I don't really care if it's a spin-off like Outbreak as long as it's a good RE game.

Wish Capcom would hurry up with some more details. After all the hype around their mystery game, it's disappointing to just have the platform and name.

Oh well, I'm excited anyway. I'm not a fan of PSP GO!, but I'm glad it's given a resurgence in PSP games. I really do love the system, but it never feels like there's anything to play on it.

It's probably an Outbreak-styled game in the vein of Monster Hunter.

My bet is that Sheva Alomar will be the main protagonist.

Think about it... what a better way to consolidate the character among fans of the franchise.

Oh, this makes me extremely glad that I hadn't sold my PSP when the opportunity knocked.
