I miss his original VA! Granted, there's nothing wrong with his new VA in this game (from what we've heard, which is limited), but I seriously miss that Canadian accent the original actor had. It always made me laugh, because it always unintentionally slipped out during his lines.

I'm sure that the game will be a great, movie-like, watch, but I have doubts about the gameplay. From the videos and IGN hands-on it seems that this shaky camera, while a nice feature that adds atmosphere, isn't gameplay-friendly. Also, I think that there's too many moments where there are zombies just for the sake of being there and not for the player to shoot them, because the camera moves so fast and so shaky it's nearly impossible.

So, has anybody been able to figure out why there is sunlight coming through those windows at night time?

Gameplay looks really interesting for both scenarios. I am especially excited for CVX's scenario. It looks really nice.
God, I cannot wait for this game!Originally posted by Yzak View PostOh Leon you so smart. Though I do like how you sort of "feel" the effect of that, too.
Also, was it my imagination, or did it actually take a few shots to blow up the barrel? Cause I sort of love that.Originally posted by GuardhouseMusic View PostYeah I love the fact that Leon (rightfully so) seems green in the RE2 scenario. Claire's helping him out just as much as he's helping her.Originally posted by Darkmoon View PostI really enjoyed seeing non-perfect Leon. He felt much more human in the trailer so far.
=P
Which means that for Leon to be hit by the explosion, you have to be playing as Leon.

wut? I find it more ironic that my comment would still be valid, keeping what you're saying in mind. Besides, nowhere did I specifically refer to the exploding bus. I thought more along the lines of an even distribution of "watch out, Leon!" and "look out, Claire!" moments.

Holy $#!* - this looks awful. Some terrifically bad remnants from REUC:
Puking zombies, horrendous dialogue ("I know it's a mess, but make yourself at home;" "Long time no see!"), and simplistic i.e. dull gameplay (which has supposedly been made even more simple).
The game looks bad (and not Michael Jackson "bad" either).
Really the only redeeming quality is the nostalgia from the redone settings.
Does not bode well that even the previewer, a noted RE fan, says the game blows.

2. Laggy lightning flash
3. Raccoon City has no stable time continuum
4. The hall is "superdark", which makes everything else look brighter than it really is.

No, wait, I take that back. If it had happened to Claire, people would complain about it happening to Claire instead of Leon, and would then blame Capcom for not daring to let anything bad happen to Leon because he's just too "perfect."

(actually, I wanted to write about it, but you were first)
So it seems that all those scripted scenes happen to whoever you are controlling in a single player mode (to all those Leon haters - if you play as Leon, he will trip over a Licker >_>). I'm curious how it will look in a co-op mode though - will both characters fall to the ground, or will there be no such scenes at all.Last edited by Mr_Zombie; 06-03-2009, 08:07 PM.
