Hate to disappoint you all, but it happens to Claire instead if you're playing as her. If you watch the first trailer that was released, you'll see the same scenario from her perspective, except she's the one who is lying on the ground after the explosion, and Leon is the one asking her if she can get up.

Which means that for Leon to be hit by the explosion, you have to be playing as Leon.

Actually, as funny as I do think it is that it was Leon in the video, my amusement stems more from the fact that part of the video is so incredibly awkward. Like, it takes Leon 9 hours to actually fall down, then another 9 hours for Claire to NOTICE he's on the ground, and I kept expecting some kind of "You are Dead" message to come up. Instead, Claire helps him, and it just... threw me off. I honestly would've laughed regardless of who it happened to.

It's kind of hard to tell these days, since most people around here seem to take some sort of irrational pleasure in seeing something, anything, bad happen to Leon. I'd bet if it had happened to Claire in the video, it wouldn't have even gotten a mention.

No, wait, I take that back. If it had happened to Claire, people would complain about it happening to Claire instead of Leon, and would then blame Capcom for not daring to let anything bad happen to Leon because he's just too "perfect."

Well... as you've mentioned in your previous post it actually did happen to Claire, in the first trailer, but no one noticed it or no one remembered about it

So it seems that all those scripted scenes happen to whoever you are controlling in a single player mode (to all those Leon haters - if you play as Leon, he will trip over a Licker >_>). I'm curious how it will look in a co-op mode though - will both characters fall to the ground, or will there be no such scenes at all.

Leon wasn't with Claire in that clip so I assume they split up and it'll always be Claire tripping over the Licker. Leon will be somewhere with Ada at that point, I imagine.

You sure about that? I thought Claire and Leon will be together through the entire scenario, just like Jill and Chris in RE1 scenario in UC.

I couldn't see him in it and I assume he'd react to Sherry and only Claire said something. Claire wasn't with Leon in the clip in the garage either, Ada was with him.

There are screens showing Leon with Sherry, Claire following behind, as well as Claire and Ada together onscreen through Leon's eyes, so i wouldn't be so sure about that.

Well I'd assume there's moments where they all get together as well as moments when they split up.

I imagine the RE2 level will be all 4 together, with Ada and Sherry staying in the background (unless Ada chips in with some gunfire of her own). Ada will probably even get her own single player level like she did in REUC.

Hmm, perhaps they'll branch off the Leon/Claire paths and have Claire's levels be single player?

Speaking of which, in REUC, if you played on Hunk or Ada's levels...was there an option for 2-player? I need to dust off my Wii and grab a friend to try it out.
