Barry Burton to appear in US's version of Tatsunoko vs Capcom?

Capcom's upcoming Wii fighting game "Tatsunoko vs Capcom" will have some new characters that wasn't available in the Japanese version. Seth Killian (Sr. Manager, Capcom Community) posted the following in the forum:

I did get a little taste of new TvC character just recently and he/she/it (seekrits!) looked GREAT. Like... maybe my new favorite.

PS- I think if you were to shave the beard, that would technically constitute a biohazard, so make sure you bring your beard-shavings containment gear, lest you risk getting everything all grody.

I think there's only one Capcom character whom we can associate "beard" and "biohazard" with, and my guess is he's from the Resident Evil series.

I logged in and saw this, it said "Barry Burton to appear in..." Then it cut off. I thought for a moment he was gonna be in Dark Side Chronicles. I got my hopes up.

But this is good nonetheless.

When you select him in the game, instead of a confirmation beep or ring or something, you should hear Barry say:

"HOOOO, my COD!"

His hyper combo consists of him going "I have THIS!" and he proceeds to shoot the opponent with a superfluous amount of .44 bullets.

Even thought I would love it to be Barry, I doubt that's him. Because, seriously, he's not among the most popular characters of RE nor among the strongest or agile ones. He's just a middle-age family man who only appeared in one game (and remake of said game) and had cameo in another and his most memorable line was about "Jill sandwitch" ._. He's the last one from RE cast (both good guys and bad guys) that would be a good character for a fighting game.
