  • Biohazard 10th Anniversary details

Capcom of Japan has finally revealed their plan for the 10th anniversary. In addition to the previously announced re-releases of Code Veronica X and Biohazard 4 for the PS2 (with OST Soundtracks). They will also be publishing a 10th anniversary DVD. The DVD is available only to those who preorder the 10th anniversary titles (either of them) so you better get in on this fast. It should be noted that e-capcom is the only place to get this deal, so you'll have to have some way of getting it from Japan. The titles available for this promotion are:
    1. Biohazard 4
    2. Biohazard Code Veronica Complete
    3. Devil May Cry 3 special edition
    4. Devil May Cry The Best (greatest hits)

The DVD seems to contain the Biohazard 5 trailer from the TGS last year, and the Devil May Cry 4 trailer as well. Trailers for all the games available in the promotion are also on the disc. The most interesting item on the disc is something Capcom is refering to as "the Wesker gap port". Could this possibly be a way to fill in the large gap between the rest of the series and RE4? Only time will tell

You can see more details at the anniversary page.

    *UPDATE*
Thanks to Bjorn, our translator for clarifying. The "Wesker Gap port" is simply Weskers Report thats been out for years now. Still, it would be great to have this DVD for its Biohazard 5 trailer!

Yeah, we had the same problem over at WU, but some investigating into my english to japanese dictionary solved it

It's the way it's written that's confusing online translators...

If you look at the kanji and then compare it to the 10th Anniverssary text:

The hilighted (sort of, it's more of a glow really) part is the same, which roughly translates to "uesukazu repoto" which means "Wesker Report" It's not exact as the one from the remake's website simply because in the quote, it's reffering to "Wesker" and not "Wesker's" which shows possesion (in the English language anyway)...

    Also:

But you don't get the WR, but almost everyone has that now-a-days...

Yeah but noone but Capcom has direct feed of the BH5 trailer. All media outlets that DID release it were CAM versions and removed soon after at Capcom's request.
