Considering one of the game's two big scenarios is Code: Veronica, and DC Douglas confirmed in an interview that he did voicework for Darkside Chronicles, I'd say that...yes. We'll be seeing Wesker again.

Also, what's up with many threads in THIA being turned into a Jill worship/Chris hate? lol I love Jill, she's my favourite character... and I still hope she appears in DSC somehow (why of all the RE characters, they just put Jill as a typo, huh?)... but the hijacking is ridiculous.

Well since RE: DSC was announced before and developed during the interview, I took it as common sense, plus the fact that the game features a chapter where Wesker plays a huge role then I guess it was for DSC. But if there's more Wesker, the better for me.

About the typo is not the first time they messed up like that. If my memory serves me well there where some errors on "official" posts, like a port of RE3 for Wii... If I can find that info I'll edit this.

But it could be a marketing plot, they know Jill sells. Put her name in an article and it'll catch more attention, and then say oops we screwed up. The only way I see Jill involved in DSC is a redoing of RE3, which i hugely doubt could happen... it's not that crazy because the first part of RE3 was on the RPD so they just need to do the extra parts. But it's Capcom we're talking about so...

Agreed. I got limited edition one for Umbrella Chronicles, and it was the worst thing ever. I absolutely hated it despite trying it out a million and one times. Finally gave up and never used it again. Made life easier.

Anyway, gah! I still need a zapper. ... this is reminding me that I should go buy one.

Don't do it! For srsly! The zapper is a horrible invention. It works terribly. I mean, I'll probably still get this one as a collectible but as far as actually using it? Hellz no. Unless you want to buy it to add to your collection, I'd give you my most honest advice and say don't waste your money.

I didnt find it to be THAT bad. Yeah its not the best thing ever but it somewhat worked.

I found it so awkward. I guess my hands just aren't used to being positioned vertically for a video game like this one. It's not like an arcade game such as House of the Dead, where you're only shooting things; in Umbrella Chronicles, despite being an on-rails shooter, you are required to press a lot of buttons, and the way the zapper sets up the Wiimote and crap was just very uncomfortable. Like I said, I tried it so many times, trying to get used to it, and it never happened.

Maybe I'm just special. :[

Don't worry...its not just you. I sucked with the zapper as well. Only I gave up after only an hour.

But, using your logic, I guess since Jill was "forgotten" repeatedly until the second-to-last RE5 trailer, that she also has serious problems with her character. Zing! Expect more Chris footage in subsequent DSC trailers.

I wasn't hijacking the topic. My posts were mainly facetious in intent. I did have a large amount of smileys in them.

Besides Jill was brought up in this topic before I even posted, capcom brought it up.

I was just fascinated and somewhat surprised, that just after Chris was announced, he is forgotten about again, and mistakenly Jill is put in his place. I couldn't help but make light of the situation.

I mean, was the editor just simply not concentrating and put Jill there? Maybe he made a mistake and accidentally revealed Jill will be in a later scenario (4th/Bonus?) I'm sure there are more than just 3 playable characters. But Krauser obviously wasn't mentioned cause he hasn't even been shown yet. While Chris has, so why not mention he is playable? Seems somewhat pointless, unless he is only in cutscenes.

Knowing capcom and their dirty little plots.... this is fishy. There's no harm in speculation.
