Wow the pronunciation police are out in full force on this. Come on people, they are Japanese working on translating to American. Who really cares if they don't enunciate every syllable for every language perfectly? I think it gives the games some good quirkyness. I never paid attention to how they said names or such like that, it's never really in my "top 5 things to do while playing an RE game".

Anyway, back to the topic. I'm really excited to play this game, except I'm about as far as I want to go with the content they've released so far. I don't want this to turn into an re5 thing where you know pretty much the entire game before it's released.

Also, I think it would be kinda funny seeing Krauser pitch a knife at a zombie only to have said knife sticking out of said zombies face. As small as those knives are it wouldn't have much of a chance of penetrating the skull, let alone doing enough damage to the brain for it to kill the zombie.

or "Luis Sera" which correct spelling would be "Luis Serra". Even Luis pronounce it as "SeRRa" not "Sera".
I'm from Spain and I never heard the "Sera" surname.

Let's see if capcom screws it up again with ManueLLa

Well sure, but everybody knows that RE4 was someowhere in SPAIN cause we knew it was somewhere in Europe. So why the hell do the SPANISH people in the village have ubber-awesome-mexican accents and say stuff like "carajo", which is not really used in european spanish. I'm sorry I'm gonna stop being offtopic now.

Like I said before I would love to see zombies and the different kind of virus in this scenario ... they could make it really long!

Folks aren't allowed to be critical? The Japanese production team certainly did just fine with their dialogue for the Spanish-speaking Ganados, so a mistake concerning the name Luis (a main character) is particularly noticeable.

"Translating to American?" I'm not even sure what that means. Besides, I am pretty sure that it wasn't Japanese voice actors doing the dialogue for the characters, all of whom speak "English." Even the Japanese region-specific disc features English dialogue with Japanese subtitles.

Proper enunciation would show just how much care went into the title (along with all the other top notch elements besides the narrative). Or at least demonstrate that the QA guy was earning his keep.

And I am curious just how butchering a Hispanic name can logically be considered as adding quirkiness? (Which you misspelled as "quirkyness") If anything, it displays negligence. Most of the people bringing up the issue are of Spanish descent, so they can rightly be miffed at (or joke about) the misuse of their native language.

Like I said in earlier posts, it isn't mispelled as ManueLLa. The scans and 1up article have it right, A-J needs to change it in the first post of this thread.

"I died in the crash. Is that what they told you?.."

Leon and Krauser partnering up! I think my brain just creamed.

                      So getting this!

Leon should be dead then. Unless Krauser was just fooling around too much like the typical bad guy. Play with the mouse so long the mouse finds a way to kill the cat.

And then the cat plays dead for a while before the bitch in the red dress actually kills the cat for real.
