Every time capcom re-releases a version of RE they ususally add something so the new stuff to the PC version of 5 doesn't suprise me. Now the releases of 0 and remake on the Wii with nothing added is just lazy.

Here we go again blaming Capcom... jeez. Ports don't NEED to have specials added, those are simply bonuses that may or may not be added. Why people get the idea that every port needs new modes, etc?

Because some fans feel like they need a reason to buy the same game again. I sure don't, because I sold my soul to Capcom.

I'm not blaming capcom, but that is what they usually do and it makes sense because it gives people a reason to buy the game. The fact that they didn't seems lazy only because you can play the Gamecube versions of 0 and Remake on the Wii and the only real advantage of getting the Wii version is only having one disc.

That's something I NEVER understood. REmake and Zero had 2 discs. RE2 which seemed bigger to me is on 1 disc wtf?

It makes sense for fans, yes. But the point of this ports was because in Japan the gamecube wasn't that too popular and those games could be hard to find for the gamecube, that's why they are re-released on a much more popular console. The only reason they hit the rest of the world was because they sold well on Japan.

Agent Wong: The technology advances, so games have support to load more data in newer consoles (higher quality sound, textures, graphics, etc do have more size than PS1 games). RE2 was pretty short, though.
