They should make a scenario of the first Gun Survivor. There is enough 'Darkside' stuff in it to grant a place in this game.

RE Zero is shit too you know only two things can connect RE Survivor with other RE canon games: a few files and one line "YEAH I'M NOT VINCENT, I'M ARK!! SEND HERE BY MY FRIEND LEON S. KENNEDY"and this just isn't enough for big canon RE game

Yes it is.

Actually, it has perhaps the best individual story in the series, and is exceedingly dark. It would have been a very fitting addition to Darkside Chronicles, considering its the darkest game in the series by far. The fact that CAPCOM didn't include it makes me want to cry on the inside.

Sadly its bogged down by shit production values.

Well .. there were pretty good things about it as well, mostly from the story standpoint as bot already mentioned two posts above .

- it showed how X's were made, and that Umbrella were ruthless in the process.
- it was the first game to show that Umbrella had a strong reach outside of Raccoon City as well
- it might be the point where the Governments start getting aware of Umbrella's shady doings since Ark is supposed to be a detective, or an agent, or something.

It showed where the T-103 Tyrants seen in RE2 and RE3 came from, how they were mass-produced, gave insight into what Leon was up to after RE2 (investigating Umbrella), and showed just how far and how much Umbrella's influence was (owning a fucking city) way ahead of CODE: Veronica, which was made to show the exact same thing.

Not only that, it follows up on the events of RE2 and RE3 directly, showing Umbrella blaming Birkin for the outbreak and so on.

It has everything to do with the series. Its just not a "main" game because it does not deal with the central characters (Chris, Jill, Leon and Claire).

It is very canon. Sorry.

I had fun playing Survivor. I liked it. Especially considering it was pretty good for its time, and still as geekily true to the RE spirit.

As for the topic at hand, he looks badass.
