      About the scan:

Is that Krauser aiming to Sheva's zombie?

My first thought was the same - that it's a zombified Sheva ;D.

The new BOW looks like the thing that was about to attack Leon and Krauser at the end of the new video.

I think people are getting a little presumptuous towards the series, like we always know what direction they're going to go in with the storyline. The truth is that this argument has been made numerous times before and I am starting to get a little tired of it. The thing is, some people like the direction the games have gone in, some people do not. What I would like is for the people who don't like it to bite the bullet and move on. We all get it, you're disappointed and as much as we sympathise, it’s probably time to let it be.

RE2 would be a breath of fresh air, because CAPCOM would be making something that a majority of the fan base wants and has been wanting for sometime now. The REmake of the first game is one of my favorites, and there is no doubt in my mind that a remake of RE2 would be even more popular. The story line is dead, there can only be so many bio-outbreaks in a 15 year time period. Chris is in his 30's and he can't be out killing zombies or whatever they are now with his juiced up arms anymore. I don't want to be a downer on the game, it looks great for a Wii game and the new senario with Krauser intrigues me and was nessassary considering the conversations in RE4, but I am tired of bitting the bullet when it comes to repetitive storylines thats all.

LOL I've only ever hear that from either a kid or an extremely naive teenager. The whole "to be 30 year old means your life is over" thing.

Dude, that's the age when you actually start doing all the relevant stuff in your life! When things get interesting and you accomplish things. When you start putting all your experience to good use.

Chris Redfield isn't a washed up loser just because he hit the big 3-0. Maybe when he hits 60, we can expect him to slow down. But at 35? Pffft! No.

The same argument can be made for Barry, who at the time of RE5 is at the action-ripe age of 50.
                Mass production? Ridiculous!

So is Javier in South America to peddle BOWs, or pornography? He looks like more of an XXX producer than an "Umbrella scientist."

First, REUC trots out a USSR-reject that looked like a Castlevania character, and now DSC is ushering in an elderly Tony Montana/Jack Horner amalgamation?

And yet people complain about Wesker in RE5...

Yes they are, and rightly so, rightly so for any elements of RE5's story they're complaining about.

Javier isn't an Umbrella scientist, he's a drug lord

Because you may not have cared for RE5, every other person's complaint - no matter how minute - toward RE5 is automatically validated? Fantastic.

I'm pretty sure I read that he is supposed to be a former Umbrella researcher. I may be wrong, but I could have sworn I read that bit of info.

Ah, thanks stranger. That invalidates my complaints toward his appearance. I guess his look is befitting a drug lord. But wouldn't a drug lord hurt his cash flow (e.g. repeat customers) by having them inject themselves with BOWs instead of meth?

Well, okay - I didn't follow your logic correctly. But I don't see how you can be so harsh on the story, when it was hindered by all of the canon from previous RE games. You know, the ones littered with plot holes and inconsistencies? Haha.

from official DSC blog: Krauser and Leon have been sent on a mission by the U. S. government to infiltrate this small South American country. Finding Javier is their objective, since he is a drug lord who has taken de-facto control over a large area of jungle. He rules the entire area absolutely. The small government is unable to do anything about Javier’s control of the drug trade, so Krauser and Leon have been called in.The drugs that Javier’s organization is producing have been contaminating surrounding countries, as well as finding their way into America. Javier is amassing a fortune in drug money, building up his own private army, and fortifying his operations. He is a wanted criminal in many countries, and is an uncommonly cruel man. Leon and Krauser won’t have an easy time getting their hands on Javier in the dense, unfamiliar jungle.
The U.S. government has received information that a former Umbrella researcher has somehow entered the region. Sources indicate that something strange is going on......
