Chances are they won't even be playing characters from the games (except for Larter), which is a good thing. Do you really want your favorite characters butchered on the big screen (again) by Anderson?

Of the game's characters, Sienna Guillory's portrayal of Jill was the only one I even remotely liked.
      Mass production? Ridiculous!

Indeed, but Ardenson screw up her personality... but Sienna did really well in REA. I wouldn't really mind to see her again... but you know... Alice is the star here.. so it would be very senseless... so let's have Ali to shine this time... if she can... of course.

Sienna did a great impression of Jill. She had more of a sense of bad girl in her than in the games, but still that drive to escape the city (well, not at first on the bus, but like... when Peyton dies). I liked that added touch to her personality.

Also, I hate how people are saying that the characters in the movies (from the games) are supposed to be those exact same characters to the teeth for the movies. Anderson himself said that the movies were never, ever intended to be like the games to begin with. He was always going to do this his way, characters included. And from a monetary standpoint, it works pretty well. From a fan's standpoint, I say it works well too. That's just my opinion, though.

              Spoiler:

              Quoting Wesker from RE1

Chris? Stop it!... Don't come this way! NOOOOOOOOO!

You should be Paul Anderson's casting director.

Ok thats fine but when he uses characters from the games and butchers them, well from a fan's standpoint that just blows. The first movie worked fine but adding characters from the games just to get fans of the the series interested is just lazy.
